headlight physical fitment differences
Aside from any functionality differences of the headlight types from years 2000 through 2006. No need to answer regarding anything about halogen or factory hid... I want to keep my questions simple...
a. Are there physical differences between a pre-facelift headlight and post-facelift headlight? Note: aside from obvious lens styles being fluted or clear?
b. I just need to know if aftermarket headlights made to fit a 2000 W220 will fit in a 2006 W220?

The oem are the same size from 2000-2006
Aftermarket might have different dimension. They usually aren't exact as the oem, but they should all fit even with minor difference from oem
There wasn't a model year change in headlight dimension from 2000-2006 If that's your question

Yes, that is my question and thanks for confirming my assumptions. Understood regarding the "copied" measured specifications of aftermarket units.
