NO climate control power, NO audio, car running hot when sitting
Hello there,
Thank you to Jason for helping me with my Shifter Linkage issue!
So now when I cut my car back on the following has happened:
* Check Engine Light
* Thermostat rises way past the normal 3/4 way
* have have radio power but no audio
* No CD changer error msg
* No power to the heating/cooling controls under radio
* No steering wheel button controls
Basically the whole front of my car is out of wack!
Just some notes to add...
* Car has been sitting for about 4weeks
* Before it originally stopped shifting I would have to cut the a/c on to make the temperature go back down after driving for awhile.
* I had it jumped originally because the battery died and my doors wouldn't lock (I've since heard that was a no no)
I removed the Control Climate unit to make sure everything was plugged in and yes it is. HOWEVER I did notice an extra plug sitting alone. I don't even see where it could go. The two biggest plugs are for the CCU & Change holderm the small one, idk *see picture*
any suggestions??

If that plastic piece isn't clogged then check under the carpet to see if it is damp. If so, you will need to pull up your carpet to check for water pooling on the floor of the car.
I would also check the coolant level of the reservoir to make sure it is not empty since you say the car was surging past 3/4. Make sure you use Zerex G-05 coolant or a MB brand. You can mix it 50/50 with distilled water. Don't just pour any coolant in there.
As far as the command unit goes, something is either not plugged in or you can check the fuses.
