V12 s600 P2050 error code
Hello everyone
My s600 has ignition failure problems
My diagnostic device put out the error code p2050.
I checked both ignition coils every single contact is ok.
Did anybody know this issue
Or can any body tell me if he had the same problem or experience
What the problem is?
Thanks for comments
Wish everybody a good ride with his benz motor code:137.970

before you go there, have somebody read the the engine control with an MB DAS reader, which is required to read the true codes and history.
One of the items people don't know about are the red silicone insulation inserts in the plug tubes of the ignition modules, which can break down and cause
misfires. They must be replaced at each coil pack removal.
I had consistent #12 cyl misfires until I pulled out the inserts and found it to have cross-fired through the material to the shroud tube. MB said: "coil pack"; since I replaced the inserts zero ignition problems.
