HID Xenon---I NEED HELP

I just took my 2000 s430 in to the dealer to have them activate my HID headlights. The dealer brought out the STAR diagnostic system but could not figure out what to do..Funny thing is one headlight almost always works and the other one works once i hit the reset button to reset the malfunction message on the dash. DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW THIS WORKS IN THE STAR SYSTEM SO THAT I CAN TAKE IT BACK TO THE DEALER TOMMOROW..

describe the problem more

hi, what is the exact symptoms?
what do you mean , activate your HID...? do you have HID now?
are you not autoleveling?

here's what I got....
check my posts too but....

"On the other hand, I did check with our contact with MBSD Service this afternoon, and the tech advised that he has serviced two 2000-2001 W220 S-Class cars with connector problems in the actuators for the leveling systems. Nothing major but the solution is to simply unplug and replug the connector back to the actuator assembly to re-establish contact. It's normally the rear unit that has this problem since the connector that the factory used was not sealed (no gaskets). Corrosion occurs and loses electrical contact, causing the actuator signal to be lost... consequentially making the system inoperable."

the Star computer may not have a toggle function for HID... most techs didn't know any thing about this....

Try turning your lights on FIRST, then starting your car.
