Airmatic question

Hello, as manny of you know I have a 03 S430 4matic. I want to replace the suspension with a regular one. Is that even possible? Can I just buy new springs and have the springs instead of the Airbags? Anyones help would be great!

Arnott and strutmasters both make spring conversions for airmatic cars

But if you just want a lowered stance you can get lowering links for the airmatic suspension

I think one of the air bags has a slight leak, Will the lowering links sit fine with that?

What you mean by slight leak? If it takes days before the car drops its fine

If it drops overnight of one night you should get the leaky strut replaced

It drops over night, most nights.... The car sits slightly lower on the drivers side then on the passengers side. Cant really tell unless you are starring at it. Can I still get away with just getting the lowering links? I just want the car to sit even lol.

I would forget about the links and fix the leaking strut before you get stranded somewhere.

Like bigsean says "ride it till the wheels fall off and then they tow it" But in all honesty how would I get stranded? The car comes up fully, not driving it around slammed to the ground...

How you are going to get stranded? That pump is working overtime to pump that leaking strut. When the pump burns out, you will understand what I mean

right now you need a strut. soon you will need a tow, a strut, and a pump.

It may also be a leaky valve block instead of a strut too

Need to figure out why it's dropping first

If the pump it's raising the car in the am, then it is not the pump. Does it go down on only one corner ??

Over night the car slams it's self to the ground real low on all fours. When I start it, it comes up fully. The drivers side sits lower then the passengers side, You can tell when you stare at it. I can hear the hissing sound coming from the front drivers side when I hit a bump like the air is coming out of it. LOL.

So I can buy the strut from you guys and it'll sit normal then? Not going to replace the whole system at the moment but after the winter I will. Treat me right and you'll have a great customer
