Strut wont come off! AIRMATIC
Originally we tried to repair the strut seal but the black circular piece would not pop out.
Now we are replacing the whole strut. However once we remove all the screws and bolts the strut won't release! When we pull down on the lower arm the strut basically expands like its working.
I saw someone mention unplugging the compressor...even with the battery out???
What's the issue and how can I get it off? Thanks

Did you remove both of the Allen screws in the base where the strut attaches to the lower arm? One on forward side, one on the aft side...
Heat may be required to remove the screws.
