Shifter Stuck and More

Shifter Stuck and More
2003 S430
Have read almost all postings relevant to my problem with no luck.
Recharged and ultimately changed the battery.
Since then, the Gear shift is stuck in park, break lights in the back do not work when the pedal is pressed, receive following messages:
Pre-Safe Inactive
ABS,BAS,ESP lights on.
I have checked all the fuses and relays.
I have taken out the break switch and tested it. Though it was tested OK, I changed it to be on the safe side.
problem persists.
I suspect power does not get to the switch.
Q. Which wire is the hot wire on the switch. I guess #1...The red.
I have also done all the resetting suggested: wheel turnings to right and left, key to position 2 with gas pedal pushed and held for 3 minutes...still no luck.
Any suggestions please?
I also appreciate it if anybody has the break switch diagram.
