I am afraid your only bet is Das to clear those codes. If I was working on that car my first step would be to clear the faults. The pump will run again and see what faults return.

yes , correct one hose per door...I am looking for a Das to get...since I do have spare car ....taking my time.., looking online to get a star system but so many versions with difference prices..recommend any particular Das? seller?

Going back to your original post when you say that you got the actuator in is everything seated properly? A hissing sound generally means that a vacuum is escaping somewhere in the lines. The PSE pump is designed to shutdown (rather than burn out) after a certain amount of time. Which door is the hissing sound coming from? If it is coming from the driver's door then there is a bad vacuum coming from that door. Post the fault codes you are getting and we can take it from there.

Yup the actuator is broken right where they usually break. Were you able to connect it with a DAS yet ??

Looks like you have the exactly same problem. I had that the round connecting area on white part was broken.

The white part is generally what breaks. There is so much pressure on that thing from the closing that it eventually just breaks over time. Don't know why MB didn't use a more durable material.

They do have the repair kits to replace the white part but from my own personal experience they don't work that well. I tried one but it only lasted a couple of months and I had to replace the actuator.

ok..so i finally got around to the car and talked to a shop to clear the codes for me...I closed the hood and somehow closed the trunk using blade key...
started the car and as I was driving all of the sudden the doors locked them selfs....so i pulled over and checked the soft close and they are also working....I have not checked to see if the codes still exist...I guess its fixed for now....Thanks for all your replies!!
