temp. airmatic fix?

hey guys I have an 02' s500 with the "stop car airmatic" light on when starting car on a cold day it does raise normal after a min or faster if warm. I brought it in to my mercedes adviser and was given an estimate of around 3k to repair.
i am currantly looking to purchase an e class but am afraid the dealer i take it to will notice the car drop if it happens to be a cold day. question is is there a temporry fix til I sell the car?
thanks!

There is an emergency fix that involves putting wood blocks in the suspension but a dealer will definitely notice that

Just trade it in on a warm day it's less likely to sink when it's warm

You should also sell your car privately, you'll get more money for it.
