Gurus, I'm in desperate need of your guidance
Background:
I own a 94 Mercedes E320 Sedan, & I love my Lilith as I've named her. I purchased the car just over a year ago, she's been great & extremely reliable to me. I've addressed all but two pending issues: 1) AC Compressor is leaking freon at an alarming rate & 2) Front & rear springs as factory original & sagging. I'm a mechanic, so these issues & all my previous are no problem tovfix, just haven't gotten to them yet.
The Deal:
I had a customer come in for aftermarket wheels & tires on his 2005 Benz S430, his wheels he had on it were just going to collect dust in a storage shed so he sold them to me. I paid a whopping $200 for AMG 5 Spoke 18" Chrome wheels. I replaced the tires on the wheels with brand new 225/45R18 on the two 18x8.5 fronts & 235/45R18 on the two 18x9 rears.
Problem:
The rears fit flawlessly, no rubbing, not one single issue. The fronts however an an absolute nightmare...Clearly I didn't think through the fact that I'm now attempting to run 18x8.5 wheels on an area designed for 15x6.5...I'm pressing against my strut.
Gurus:
Can you help me out, what spacers am I going to need? Where can I get them? Obviously I'll need to roll my fenders, that's no problem, I plan on it anyways. I though I'd be able to maybe tweak my camber, I do aligbments daily, but I'm pretty well screwed because of the sagging springs right now.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated guys, & thank you in advance
