Center Console Buttons stopped functioning

I recently posted a thread looking for guidance on my airmatic that was not working properly. Car would collapse after sitting idle for a day or so and would rise after sitting for 30 minutes or so after being driven. Received advice calling for a possible bad valve block and upon taking my car to an indy mechanic they did in fact replace the valve block.................however...................no w the buttons on my center console have ceased working. Everything on my dash works properly but the bank of switches above the Command have all quit. I talked to my mechanic who quickly distanced himself from the matter so upon furthering my own education I am seeing a lot of threads on bad SAM or possibly a disconnected wire in the fuse box.

Does anyone have any insight/advice on this matter? If disconnected wire where would I look for it?.......within the fuse box, under the fuse box/etc? And is it likely that the valve block replacement is responsible for my new issue?

I think that it is pretty unlikely that the tech would have gotten close to anything that would cause this while changing the valve block - possible, but not likely...
