Abc delete. Tandem pump to s500 pump options?
I purchased a 2004 S600 that already had ABC deleted. I have ordered everything required to place a sway bar on it. Looking at the power steering pump, it seems the S500 pump use a 6 rib belt and press on pulley. S600 is 7 rib. What is everybody doing to get around this?

Mine is dead. I can swap now if I want. I'm thinking to build a blank banjo plug for the lines and just let it internally bypass, as my local parts guys can get a lifetime warranty rebuild for cheap.

I wanted to figure out a viable v8 pump option so I could declutter the bay.
I've got a machine shop and welding rig at my disposal. Master certified technician, left benz and went indy years ago. If I can figure it out I'll blaze the trail lol.

The problem with leaving the abc pump as is, is that it can still have a high pressure leak on the remainder of the circuit. There must be a way to make the regulator valve on the pump bleed off pressure but still lubricate itself. I was thinking of blocking the banjo port and modding the regulator so that pressure is internally bypassed.
