Steering Fluid line sliced, no pressure
Hi there,
Parked my S500 for the night, and when I came back this morning I noticed there was a puddle on the floor. Now, I didn't think much of this, as my windshield reservoir has had issues for a while and sometimes decides to dump all my fluid out at once.
Anyway, when I started the car and began to back out of my driveway, I noticed I had 0 power steering, and realized all that fluid on the ground was just that, power steering fluid. It appears a line further down in front of the engine has gotten kinked, and has either 1) slid down enough on the seal to leak OR 2) has developed a large hole and now is gushing fluid whenever any pressure tries to get into the system. What should my next course of action be? I've thought about trying to un-kink the line and put some tape on the slice to at least get it out of the neighborhood, but I'm not sure if that would hold. And it seems obvious I'll need a new hose.
Does anyone have any advice, or past experience?

Yup, I hoped it wouldn't come to that but that's what it looks like it will be. I think if I drove it slowly I could at least get it out of the neighborhood, but I can't imagine these cars really enjoy driving without any power steering fluid, and the steering currently feels as such.

Running dry will wipe out the steering pump pretty quickly.
If you really need to move the car, you might be able to access the leak, cut the hose cleanly and measure the inner diameter. Then see if you can locally source a hose splice fitting that fits.
Remember that the W220 does not use standard power steering fluid, and the special fluid costs $15 - $25 per liter at best, and about $50 per liter at the dealer. I would consider the splice to be a temporary expedient.

I buy the fluid here:
$65 for 5 liters. I buy it in the 5L jug because I use it for both ABC and PS...you may not need that much...
