s class outside temp sensor malfx/location
hey guys, i had this happen before too... the outside temp sensor came loose and gave erroneous/usually much higher temp than true ambient temp... (it's reading 101deg when actually high 80s...., etc etc.)
it's happening again i think...esp. after the front fender was pulled off during new bixenon upgrade....
where is the temp sensor and how can i push it/put it back to normal position?

James,
It's on your AMG front bumper on the driver side front vent. If you're looking straight at the front of your car, you'll see three vents - two small side ones and one large one (they all have black mesh grille). The temp sensor is located on the driver side near that vent. The reason I know is because I had to relocate the sensor when I was switching to the Lorinser bumper.
