2000 s430 acting crazy

Hi I have a 2000 s430 while driving it stays in first gear when I pull over and shut it off it won't start until it's reseted with the scanner plz help

Is your tcu full of oil ?
Is yiur conductor plate bad ?

The computer said it was the tcu I'm going to pull it out today fingers crossed that that's the problem

Common issue , especially if fluid gets into it from the leaky electrical plug

If there's fluid in it clean it off with electrical cleaner , change the plug and try it
You might not need to buy a new tcu unless some of the resistors have burned out
