2005 S55 - VSS and Reverse Wire? CAN-Bus Adapter...?
Hello - anyone know if the VSS, ACC, and Reverse wire signals are easily accessible behind the COMAND unit in a 2005 W220? I am installing an aftermarket radio (+ a MOST conversion interface) and need access to these wires.
I checked the wiring diagrams and the wiring connector for the COMAND unit does not have these leads built-in, so I am thinking the signal is carried on the CAN-bus. However, unable to find a CAN adapter for the W220. I wonder if a universal CAN adapter will work.
Any thoughts...?
