Airmatic Extremely stiff

Good evening all,

I have an '05 W220 S500, which is my daily. The other day, I got the white "Airmatic - visit workshop" error message, and since the car was going to the mechanic's anyway, I figured I'd tell him the code popped. He said the error code that popped was telling him the compressor pump wasn't performing to spec, but when put through the diagnostics test, the pump passed with flying colors, and figured it was a one-time thing.

I got the car back today, and the error is now persistent. After the error comes up, the suspensions goes into an ultra-stiff mode, that seems even stiffer than the "Sport 2" setting for Airmatic. I've done plenty of research, and know that relays are common causes of this, but I swapped out the relay, and that wasn't the cause. This car got two brand new air struts 6 months ago, so I'm really hoping it's not those.

Anyone have any other ideas? Thanks!

Wow, this seems to be a really big thing as of late. I just fixed mine.
