Problem with aromatic after repair.
I got my first S500 little over 2 months ago my problem is I replaced all control arms in rear left tire cuz it was damaged. Then after repair I started the car everything was okay to the point that the compressor was on after I shut off the engine it didn't want too turn off so I unplugged the battery there was no problem like that before. I also noticed that the air line was having a small hole in it I don't know if that can be a cause. I plugged in battery after a while and it was still the same thing so I tried to raise the car up with the button on the dash the front went okay the back a little bit too but not like it was before. Is there any fix to that please help. Thanks a lot 😊

Then continue reading thru the encyclopedia and learn how to find leaks in the system.

- With the engine running, turn the steering wheel all the way to the left stop, then all the way to the right stop.
- Lower the driver's window to the bottom by pushing the switch thru the detent (auto lower position), and hold the switch for five seconds, then raise the window to the top by pushing the button thru the detent (auto raise) and hold the switch for five seconds. This resets the window by telling the computer where the bottom and top are.
- Repeat this for every window.
- Repeat this for the sunroof.
- Repeat this for raising and lowering the steering column.
- Repeat this for moving the steering column in and out.
- Repeat this for moving the seats forward and back.
- Repeat this for moving the seats up and down.
- Repeat this for moving the headrests up and down.
- Repeat this for moving the backrests back and forth.
- Repeat this for opening and closing the power trunk if your car is so equipped.
- Try to remember that you should try to avoid disconnecting the battery unless it is really necessary.
Do the research recommended in Post #3 by going here https://w220.ee/Airmatic and repair the leak. The compressor will run until you repair the leak or until you burn it up ($$$). If the compressor runs continuously after the leak is repaired, remove the control relay until you can get a Hella relay (not a cheap Chinese relay) to replace it.
