Airmatic (car rises slow)
Hi Guys/Gals I have a 03 S430 the problem I'm having with my Airmatic system is the right front passages side rises very slow also the compressor only runs for a few seconds (40) and turns off . The compressor does not come on when I start the car even if I push the rise button, but if I leave the car running after a while the compressor will come on for only a few seconds.
Now I do have carsoft where I can use my laptop to rise the car. When I use carsoft to rise the car the compressor comes right on but just for a few seconds as before and still have to wait about 5 mins before i can hit the rise again from my laptop. After about 15min of this the rear has risen and the left driver side has risen but the right side front is still coming up. I never get the two fronts to the same height. I have checked for leaks from shock/compressor lines found none. the only fault code I get is C1517-001 any Ideas? Thanks oh and the car is not doping all way down just lower in the front more on the right side than the left.
