door lock and suspension

Hi the drivers side door lock button does not go all the way down when pushed or the locking is activated what could cause this?

Recently the suspension adjustment switch is only going on with 2 red lights and not the 1 then 2 when you move the switch any ideas were to look.

thanks james

I don't think you can manually lock the driver's side door from the inside by pushing down on the lock. You need to lock it with the lock button on the dash. If you need to manually lock it from outside - you need to use the blade key. At least that is how it works on my car.

The other 3 doors can be manually locked fine.

Could be your door lock actuator. Do you hear a hissing noise coming from that particular door?
