Muffler delete cost?
How much should a muffler delete cost on a 2003 s600? . And what will the shop do? What will they take out and/or put in? Just a taking out the muffler to hear the engine better. Thanks everyone

Depends how many parts you cut out and how much labor is needed to fabricate straight pipes
there are both mufflers and resonators
some people remove everything behind the catalytic converters with straight pipe as just removing the muffler will not make much difference

Few of the local hotrodder shops would touch my 12yr old C32 when I wanted fab a new cat back. The one's who were interested wanted to charge me 20% of the car's worth to do it.
I had to go to the local mexican/muffler place near me who did a great job for $250. I supplied the muffers/cats/resonator.

Am considering removing and or changing to Magnaflo mufflers myself...cut out the resonators and straight piped to the original mufflers...sounds nicer...but not a lot louder at all. Let me know how it sounds.
