S400 behaves differently (P2025 error-code)
My brothers 2001 S400 got sluggish all of a sudden and when we checked the error code it read as P2025. After some googling, we though that the fault was in the part that I linked and we bought a new part. But when we changed it today, it gave an error and the car was running "slowly". When we remove the part, the car runs as if there was no problem though so we don't know what is causing the problem.

Ps. Sorry for my sub-par English, I tried my best.

That is your MAF (Mass Airflow Sensor). You really do need that part installed. Try using some CRC Mass Air Flow Cleaner on the contacts. Don't use any other chemicals. Also, make sure it is seated properly when you put it back in the car. It has that weird looking clamp that holds it all togheter. You can be very liberal with the spray because it dries very quickly just make sure the engine is cool. You can by the CRC cleaner at Walmart or your local auto parts store. About $7 or so.
Also, if that doesn't work try putting some Chevron Techron Fuel System Cleaner (the black container) in the gas tank. Pour the entire contents in. It is best to use it when the car is 1/4 tank or lower. Pour it in before you fill up so that it mixes with the gas. Then take the car on a very spirited drive for about 1/2 hour. It will clean your injectors.
