How to remove DCM plugs

Hi Guys,
I used to think i was pretty good with DIY until yesterday when I was swapping the driver side DCM and for the life of it couldn't figure out how to remove the plugs. I ended up breaking the old one just to get these plugs out.
Would someone be kind enough to point me in the direction of what MB tool is needed to get these plugs out easily.

Also, in the attached diagram, there's a blue plug with three blue wires, I wanted to know what those three blue wires are for.

thanks much !

These plugs don't pull straight out...
I've damaged one of these modules trying to pull out the switches and can't take a chance on the new one I have ordered.
therefore hoping someone can chime in to let me know how to properly take them out as pulling/wacking out isnt working for any of these small ones or blue one...
thanks in advance guys

I remember having hard time with these plugs too and I leave them intact.
Perhaps with a flat head screw driver? There is a slot on the DCM between the blue and white plugs

They are very hard to remove. Wiggle and pull is the way.

Then, what I did was to file off the nipple on each plug. The plugs are still a firm fit, but they are much much easier to remove.

They are definitely hard to remove but they do come out. Just take your time and wiggle the wires together holding them as close as you can to the connector.

Good to know. I was worry about damaging the unit or the plugs and didn't apply much force.
