Just curious to see how many of you have passenger seat rattles, and if so, how they were fixed? I had them with my CLK430 and now my dad has it on his S500. They "supposedly" fixed his during this latest round at the dealer (changing out the rail), but it's still there. My CLK's seat problem was never fully fixed, so I'm not sure what the answer is. Thanks.

 

Goodluck with that. My S430 drivers seat rattles. They said it was because of a some piece that fits between the seat and the center console.

 

I had that problem with both front seats... I took it to the dealer like 8 times to get them fixed, everytime something was fixed, something else went wrong... However, if you car is still under warranty, keep going to the dealership. Or try various dealerships. That's what I did. Eventually it got fixed, but god damn 8 times...

 

arggh - I now keep a rubber backed mouse pad in my car and try cutting and stuffing a piece of it between the seat and the plastic seat carriage

 

both of my clk430 seats rattle, like sorta squeaks on turns lol

 

I would have thought they'd at least get it right on the S-class...sheesh.

 

Now that is sexy...

I wonder if a conditioning on the leather or plastic surfaces would help or if it would require new hardware to stop the squeak..
