Full Tour & Review of the W220 S-Class
Hey everyone,
We've been looking to film a W220 S-Class for quite some time. A few months ago we had time to get a 2000 S500 on camera for a comparison between the 2001 BMW 740iL.
While we knew we'd get pushback for not putting the 7 Series against the W140, we still felt it was a good comparison as prices are pretty similar in the used car market. The S500 we filmed for that didn't have enough time for us to get all the segments filmed for our typical episode of Spotlight so we had to put that video on the backburner until we found a 2004 S430 4Matic.
So we put together a bit of a Frankenstein video, showing the features and design of the pre-facelift W220, some updates for 2004, then a full driving segment with the S430. Hopefully, this video helps anyone who's thinking about picking up an older S-Class and is curious to know more about them.
