"W" mode while using Touch-shift

Now, I'm a little confused on this.

I know when you in "D" and have it in "W" mode, it'll start in second gear.

But, what if i have it in touch-shift mode, 1st gear displayed and press "W" to engage the 2nd gear start feature. Does it still start in 2nd or 1st? I've always wondered about it, have tried it, but couldn't really tell a difference :p

As far as I'm aware, the new Comfort or 2nd gear mode was only available to the SL/and facelifted CL/S models. Regularly, the W mode just shifts early, delays throttle response (heavily noticeable, just floor the sucker in W mode) and thats about it. Oh and it also delays kickdown (very annoying). But it does save fuel.

The best mode is S, keep driving regularly, and once it adapts it will kickdown much sooner....
