So, today I'm driving my 2006 S430 4MATIC and all of a sudden the brake light pops on like the parking brake is engaged. Then the ABS light, on the right of console pops on), then the car started to jump as if it was dying..........while the speed odometer gauge went from 60 down to zero back up to 60 and lights blinking!! Any next steps or suggestions

Electrical issue , obviously . Check voltage at the battery as well as at the main fuse block under the front passenger floor

Yes, check the clamps on the battery terminals are tight.

Okay, so I go to the shop......we replace the alternator, and find that I have a broken Alternator bracket (one of the bolt rings is broken where the nut attaches to the bolt). Facing the car, the left lower back one has the broken ring. Tested the battery and the cables all good. I fired it up and the check engine light is gone, ABS light is gone and the Brake Light is gone........... I wonder if the broken bracket caused slack in the alternator belt .................
