I have a 02` S430. What performance mods can I add to the vehicle? Also what exhaust do you guys recommend ?

Depending how loud you want it , simply replace the resonator or both the muffler and resonator with straight pipe .

For performance mods the most noticeable change is using a Sprint Booster. These don't make your car any more powerful but it will Feel much more powerful and give a seat of the pants difference you can feel as it opens the throttle more

anything else won't give you any noticeable seat of the pants difference . A tune, KN air intake etc will only give 20-30hp combined and no real difference in feel in a s430

only the supercharged s55 and turbo s600 get a noticeable different feel from a tune as boost is increased

The cheapest, easiest, way to add performance to your car is to sell it and buy an S55 AMG or an S600.

There isn't a good way to add power to your V-8. With the high-performance cars available for under $10K now, just get one of those...
