Cant get air to struts

Ok so I am new here, but all I see is people with issues of pump running all the time or leaks. I have something a bit more indepth, or so I think.

I have a 2002 S430 and I also have an autel 908 pro so I can cycle the pump on an off, but it never charges the struts.

So the pump will never turn on by itself, it will when I power it up with the scanner. I have replaced the pump, the relay, the valve body, and checked for leaks everywhere. When I cycle the pump manually I can here it charging as it sounds like its getting under more stress. I pulled a hose off the front pass and driver to test for pressure and it is very weak at best.

Would the pressure valve be bad on 2 pumps? What would cause the pump to never turn on? Has anyone had this issue? Need some advice on what to check and were to go from here. Thanks!

The Airmatic system is much more complex than you realize. The pump does not supply air directly to the struts. The air flowing to the struts is individually controlled by a computer, based upon ride height sensors.

Start by going here https://w220.ee/Airmatic and doing some reading. You will need to do some system testing and checking.

I think I am going to buy a computer at this point. Seems after reading the wiki there is a good chance that is it. I was working fine and just stopped. With the autel when I try to fill each bag it will just put pressure in the tank and never make it past the valve block, you can faintly feel the air pass in the hose going to the strut.

$25 shipped. It was not bad at all. I am glad I didnt go all crazy with the pump and valves, just narrowed issue down and done. And to be honest, the system is pretty simple compared to what it seemed at first.

Hi
Very curious about this. Can you explain what you mean by 'computer'?
Can you provide details of what and where you bought? Where is the unit located on the car?
