S500-Overhead lamp unit replaced - weird dash errors
Timeline:
tried to bypass overhead temperature sensor which was rotted out - clipped green and white wire for computer data - no joy.
Soldered green and white wires back and left connector with those wires unplugged. R01 REST code shows ERROR and A/C runs fine.
Bought NEW overhead unit, OEM. Plugged in new unit. Now all sorts of license plate light, rear signal light, marker light, etc turn on over the dash.
Do I have to do some sort of reset for it to accept the new unit? It is a genuine MB part
