FINALLY HIGH RES PICS

Hey guys, worked my computer magic skills and fixed these pics. I think i need to submit these somewhere! haha. Finally here is the album link, with high res option. You really need to see the pics in high res, totally different experience. Just click on them, then click the link to see full resolution. They aren't that big, i resized them somewhat. Enjoy!

S500 Photo Album Link

Let me know what you think!

very nice!

hey, im in the same position as you. my mom wanted a S500 but the deal was that i get to add whatever option i like. our car is due to arrive on the 24th of may. i love the exhaust look, did ou have to modify your rear bumper to fit that? is the s55 amg rear bumper different from the regular amg package bumper?

congrats, oh yea, great color combo, we got white/black which i think is pretty rare since all i seen were white/beige or grey around LA. and its true, i think there are about 25,000 s-classes in LA but most of them are the 00-02 models.

I must say, the keyless go is the best option by far. I went on a meeting with some clients a week ago and they all went crazy, said they had never seen anything like that before.

Well on the S-Class its different. You can use the key anytime or if your lazy, with the key in pocket just push the button on the gear selector and your gone.

"no visual difference lol. Execept for the stock wheels and the navi system, thats about it"

So do you also know whether there is a difference between the European version of S500 vs. the US??
I heard from a source that the US versions has some extra gadgets on the front, like extra halogen lights in the bumper, but I didnt see that anywhere, and think thats going to come in 2005-6 facelift actually..

So anyone know?

there are halogen lights in the headlamp cluster. Not really sure on the details though. Here in the states we only have the LWB S Classes as you probably know, thats why we dont have a S500L etc. They have alot of options like the tv tuner that we dont but we have some things they also dont I am sure.

Hey, sorry if the attachment didn't work. The link to the high res pics is in my signature now. Just click on that and it should take you to "Photo Club", from there click on the pics to get a regular reso picture, then there is a link under it for full resolution. It really looks amazing. Enjoy!

Iluv,

I park my car on the west side of Chicago - your post has prompted me to remove my keys when I'm in the garage/driveway. BTW we just got a dog.:p

IMHO if I had to pick another color besides black, I'd go with the new pewter over tectite, tectite is alright on an e55 but it's too much malaise on the s chassis. Maybe the chrome AMG215 wheels are a twist vs. the conservative tectite color, too. I'd go with a Lorinser or Brabus polished silver wheel. Otherwise, nice ride

I looked at the pewter with my dad. Originally that was the color we were going to get, but as we left the dealership in the service area was a S600 sport tectite, and we instantly fell in love. I think with the stock AMG wheels, the color was set off differently. However, with what we have done to the car, it just feels so nice. The first time I’ve ever seen a car, and felt good about it, without nitpicking.

hey thanks, i really didnt' know how the color combo would work till i saw it in real day light. I was afraid it might not work. I think the sport package really does finish it off though.

BTW... what "silly bumper strip indicators on the front", G Unit?? i'm confused

Like most American cars, they have indicators on the front bumper strips. In Europe, they don't have these, and it looks much better without.
