instrument cluster dead?

in my w220 S55 i have problem with instrument cluster. I start car but instrument cluster don't turn on, look like if car turn off, nothing change on move, no lights. I check all fuse what connect to instrument cluster, they are ok also make test in DAS and receive error no connection to instrument cluster. Also check with multimeter connection from A1-11 and x11/4-15 and show like cable broken. What i need to look to find error, as STAR diag. don't give me any help on this error?

If you have (or can make - that is simple) the two keys or tools needed, it takes one or two minutes to remove the instrument cluster and see if you can find a disconnected harness. Search for "W220 instrument removal tools", and you can see what they look like, or order a set for a couple of US dollars. You simply slip two flat metal keys into the slots on each end of the cluster, and pull the cluster out...

Hi. Yes i remove it and check also connection using tester, but i dont open cluster itself, as i dont sure if it dead. Car working normal no problem with cluster, and after night parking not work at all. So i dont know what can happen. Also battery was on low power. I dont remove it. Also try to disconect power on next night, but not help.

What year is your car? It may be a victim of the instrument cluster failure problem from several years ago. There was a recall on the clusters.

Hi, year is 01.06.2004, i read a lot of info about this in mbworld forum, but i can't change it already for 10year extended warranty, as car already OLD.
Problem that instrument cluster work fine, nothing show that some **** can happen. So car stay i don't use it for week and after this instrument cluster totally not turn on, no indication nothing, look as car is off, but you can drive and so on.

Before this i have problem that left turn signal start working wrongly, when i turn it back and middle turn signal work but front not blinking, start blinking front high beam light. I just remove turn signal lamp, and high beam light not blinking after this, when i check with star diag, nothing find what can be wrong with this, but this can be problem with lamp directly in headlamp.

So what i do right now:
Check with STAR diag, receive error no connection with instrument cluster.
Check all fuses they are OK.
Remove instrument cluster and check port A1=11 and diagnostic conector port x11/4=15 and this show me wire break.
No more option in STAR, not show me where to search next.
Also in car install MOST link, maybe this can help.

Any information will be good to have.
