Does anybody know what metal the control arms should be made of? The ones on my car look to be aluminum (likely the ones from the factory) but the replacements seem to be a different metal (steel?). I have concerns about putting something heavier (or made from a different material than specs) than what came from the factory. I haven't installed them yet, I am just in the process of prepping for the job. Any insight appreciated.

(Side Note - The pictures of the OEM Arms look black as well as the replacements I have in hand)

That's an excellent point. Never thought of that. Too obvious.

 

i wouldn't be too concerned even if it was steel...

 

I suppose it wouldn't be a huge deal.
