I know what you mean, but I also see how this can be misunderstood..

I would advise to write JPs or Japanese, because unfortunately, the word Jap has been used in negative manner, in the same way you almost cant say negro today without being jumped. (even though Negro comes from several old languages and means black in spanish for example, its still "bad")
sorry, the people before us have made this so.. I dont really care, but its worth being carefull when you write etc.

No offense to anyone, simply think its weird thats all.

I didn’t mean to offend anyone (Japanese in this case) using word Jap.
Will use JPs instead

hehe, no prob, I know cause I got in that situation myself and ehum. kicked from a chat server so yeah I know we dont always mean something bad..
