Has anyone had this problem… I have no headlight washers when the button is pressed, no noise, no movement, the washers don’t push out or pump any water at all even when headlights are on & wipers are on aswell.
Can’t find anything on the internet to even get a starting point.

I forgot about this feature. I'm going to check mine, but to be honest, I don't think I will bother fixing it even if they don't work....no biggie.

 

We live in a farming area so they do get quite a muddy so it's handy having it working...... but also if I've got something on my car it has to work otherwise it drives me mental if it won't work...

 

I'm sorry to tell you this, but above + owning a 15+ year old German car = bad BAD mix

You might need a straight jacket by the time you are done with this car hehe

 

Tell me about it this is my 4th Merc & second S500, & when something goes wrong I get a nervous twitch.......

 

 

Well new pump arrived today & fitted & was running but the jets still didn't come out of the bumper & no water.
So had to remove both headlights so I could trace the the pipe system only to find that the pipe from the pump had been blocked with a bolt due to the T piece that connects the two washers to the pump had been broken, but luckily my local motor factors had a T piece that fitted perfectly, so all working at last.
Another job ticked off the list.
