Smog - Drive Cycle
Hey Guys,
Just purchased a 2004 S500 with a new battery just put in. Problem
is that it didn’t pass the smog test. The problem was with the catalyst.
Does anyone know the drive cycle to take care of this issue.

Just a comment - In virtually all USA localities that have smog tests, it is illegal to sell a car that won't pass the required test, so in many cases, the problem belongs to the seller.
Sometimes the problem is with the oxygen sensor, not the cat.
There is not "a" cat, there are multiple cats. What is the exact trouble code showing the failure? There is almost never a magic drive cycle that will clear a failure problem.
