2000 s500 BOSE amplifier pin out diagram
Does anyone know the color of the rear deck sub woofer wires from the speaker from the amp itself? It looks like grey and grey w/red stripe from an image on the internet but it's inaccessible from the trunk so i need to quire from the amp out put. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Try adding a sub/amp but you might have to remove the subwoofer from the deck (which is a PITA) as the trunk compartment is pretty sealed and sound waves won't get into the cabin. For example, I simply hooked up a 12" box/woofer to Bose amp and ended up with worse than stock results (ended up removing it). Adding an amp might make things better.
Also, be aware that there is a gas tank between the seat and trunk. DO NOT drill towards the seat.
When you hold all the speaker wires together you should be able to see the thickest set, that's the sub. Cut it with enough room on each side so you can easily reconnect it back up.
