Hi guys, i recently swapped the ECU(virgin) and front right SAM(doesn't work even i swapped back to original SAM) due to replacing an engine, at first few times the engine cranked and ignited for a sec and died, my first thought is the immobilizer, so i unplugged the EZS ECU and ESM for some checking on the workbench. After done checking the eeprom, i plugged everything back to the car, and i heard something POPPED(not sure where) when i insert the key, but key is still able to rotate in EZS ,so i check the left and right fuse box, no blown fuse, but no more cranking ever since. power is still going to the hazard lights, brake lights, instrument cluster, indicators, audio system, blah blah blah...

i tried to plugged in the STAR computer to do the teach-in process, unfortunately when the Xentry DAS request you to start the engine, nothing happened no crank,i tried to jump 12V directly to the purple STARTER cable and it cranks but no ignite, i also try to bridge the starter relay #30 and #87,and the engine crank but no luck, i hear the fuel pump working and the STARTER, Gear selector correctly shown in parking and no fault code(both), sadly the STAR teach-in process is not completed.

Status of each components:
EZS - Virgined, able to rotate keys, STAR shows no fault code.
ECU - Existing, STAR shows no fault code, able to enter teach-in process, able to check sensors live data.
SAM - Existing, It does have fault codes of front headlights and front indicators due to i removed the headlights unit, hazard light working..

The interesting part is a virgin ECU have 1500 times of engine start, the counter dropped to 1494 after few attempts of turning the key. My thoughts are the EZS, SAM, or ECU, Can anyone please tell me where to start troubleshooting? Or what more information i need to provide to do it?

Problem identified, Its the ECU couldn't process the start signal from the EZS(weird that the ECU can still do start counting), i borrowed another ECU and it works fine in my car.
