Exclamation Dead DCM, Open window!

Hi All. The passenger-side DCM on my 2000 W220 is kaput.. Fuses fine, there is power getting to the DCM, nothing coming out. The window is open a few inches.

I have the DCM pulled out and was hoping I could get the window to go up. I know which wires on the motor are power and ground, but not sure what to hook to one of the other two, which I'm assuming drive the UP or DOWN command. Can anyone tell me, or give me a better diagram of the window motor with with labels that make sense? Or, can anyone tell me an easy way to manually "roll" the thing up?

I currently can't afford the new DCM and can't find anyone with a used one that matches it. They all either have fewer lights on the heat/cool buttons, or none at all.

The dealer wants to sell me one for $640 LOLOLOL. The ones I found, which don't match are around $200.. which I would be fine with, if I could find one! (2208200210 Q18)

Thanks, all.

Matt

you need a working Dcm to roll it up
searching that part number on eBay brings up 7 used Dcm as low as $50 I understand the seat heater button is different on them

but I would try one of those to see if it will work temporary until you find one with the heated and ventilated seat control

Remove the seat heat/cool switch from your old dcm and install on the replacement one. On ebay you’ll find many dcm that suits you.
