Post HI THERE , wish you're all well

i have a 2002 s500 car , the issue is i don't know really about the cabin air button how to keep air only inside the cabin and how to let it share the outer air , is it avoiding outside air if the red LED is on or the other way is right ?
cause it's bringing the bad smell sometimes on the high way , and the blue arrow of the middle ac hols how it really work , cause i heard its being cold on the blue option , but when ever i m just started driving i keep it on auto for the first 30-45 minutes to keep the air flow stronger , but later on the air flow will be weaker than i'll have to switch it to the blue color to make the air stronger , help me if anyone is sure about this issue

Apparently, you don't have the Owners Manual. There are dozens of neat things that the car will do that you will never just stumble into. The manual is 235 pages, but it will be well worthwhile spending some time reading at least some of it.

You can control inside vs. outside, air speed, odor-filtered or not, where the air comes out, amount of air flow thru individual outlets, etc., etc.

If the light is glowing in the recirculate button you are not using outside air

if the light is off it is drawing fresh air

the red/blue is the climate control ,it tries to keep the cabin at the selected temperature - so once it gets close to that temperature it slows down the fan .
