Start problem
Issue with w220 S430 01'
I have some strange symptoms which I do not understand. Car was driving fine and suddenly I was unable to start.
When I turn key nothing is happening. No faulty codes, good battery.
After few attempt I just shift to N and car started. Right now car is driving ok but I still don't understand what is happening.
My gearbox was serviced 6 weeks ago. Can be related to this service ??

Possibly - one of the rules for troubleshooting faults is to look at the last few things that you touched. If the "no-start in PARK", but "start in NEUTRAL" is repeatable, a loose connector on the shifter would be my first guess.

OK I still didn't find out what is going on with car. Right now I'm not able to start at all. I can turn key many times and is nothing happen. I heard funny noises under the hood so I opened. I found out the fan was running. It is happening every time if car dont want to start it. Today I notice if car don't want to start it I dont see gearbox on cluster. I can switch off and on and off and on 3 to 5 times and final I can see gearbox gear and car is starting. What is going on Conductor plate, TCM or electronic shifter. After start car id driving but shifting is not smooth.
Thx for all help
