We were lucky to find an immaculate 2002 S500 with 105,000 miles less than a year ago. It was purchased new, garage kept, and all service done prior to us. We put about 10,000 more miles before some super awesome lady blew through a red light. Insurance has totaled it but offered to let me buy it back.

Search eBay completed sales for the highest priced w220 parts . If you strip the 20-30 highest priced parts you can get $5000-6000 but it’s a lot of work and the parts might not sell quickly
