ok guys, since you seem to be talking about rumors rather than fact....
here's a fact.
I have had my '03 s430 4-matic for one year as of this week. It currently shows 23,500 on the odometer.
to date I have had precisely one repair required, which was to replace the mass airflow sensor. The repair was indicated by on board system diagnostics.
are there things I wish were different sure. the AC could be colder. I would have preferred a DVD nav instead of CD ( which 04s have)
but other than the A8 there isn't anyone else in the game if you have snow, and we sure do in new england.

Did you just happen to completely miss the HUGE 2X4 of wood on the front dash, or behind the rear seats? Or some of the most comfortable seats in any luxury car.

The only thing i dont like about the 7 is the rear end and the lack of shifter....oh yea and idrive
