S320 '99 PSE operation.
Good day to you all!
My W220 PSE motor had burnt out.I replaced the motor but the pump seems to run on too long and pops the fuse. I've tried reducing the pressure regulator but it doesn't seem to help. The regulator is free and not seized. I have checked all the lines and no leaks are present. My question is - does the spring strip in the attached photo sit below as shown or above the regulator disc? Any other suggestions I may try?
On another note, my cooling fan motor is noisy, new are very expensive, I am contemplating fitting a replacement thermatic fan instead. Any problems with this route? Any assistance appreciated !

The pump is the original from the car, the motor is new. I understand a new pump needs to be Star'ed to work.

Out Of Control!!
Although I did not check by VIN, I could not find a motor or any other PSE seat, locking or trunk pump offering parts you indicate you replaced, however you are correct a new or new to car must be coded to the car with the MB HHT------I would say you are on your own!
