2006 S600 Biturbo Charging Issues
Hello! New to the forum. I am in the process of purchasing an 2006 s600. The car has developed an issue since the dealer has had it. They say it dies with in 10 minutes with the battery full charged and new. It also has no codes. The car is very far from me but has 135.000 kms on it. I am a dyi and shop kind of guy. Depends what it is wether its within my skill set. So the big question is Whats wrong with it . They say alternator. Car should run for much longer than 10 minutes on a fully charged new glass mat battery. Thanks!

The only answer that makes sense is for you to buy SDS (STAR Diagnostic System) - $450-$600 now, so you will have it when you start on the car.
If you do some searching here and on the Benzworld forums, you will find a huge amount of info on why you should buy one, how to buy it, etc., etc.
