Looking for front drivers leather seat
I'm searching for front driver's (upper and lower) leather seat in light gray for my 2005 2430 4matic.
I bought the car with the seat having some tears in it nearly 2 years ago. It's the vented seats & I find the perforated leather isn't as durable. I'm fairly certain my belt that I wear is making the rips worse (along with my fat ***). I'm at the point where the heater also doesn't work any longer never mind the seat just plain looking like crap.
Does anyone have a gray leather seat that will work (with at a minimum, the center portion perforated) they're willing to sell to me?
It can be just the skins or the whole seat with cushion. I'd like the heater to work too.
My research shows the 2003 - 2006 W220 will fit. Unfortunately the 2000 - 2002 W220 will not fit. If I'm wrong, please let me know and I'll expand my search.
I haven't had any luck on Craigslist or eBay.
Thank you in advance

There are several different leather designs on different W220 models.
Color doesn't have to make a difference - you can buy leather dye from two or three on-line vendors, and the dye works very well.
You were apparently not using a good search term on eBay. Try w220 leather -220v

Yeah theres tons of used leather seats in eBay just search by chassis number not model number . eBay did this stupid thing that includes irelevant results if you search by make or model , so use:
w220 leather seat grey
refine the search to only show used items so you don’t get irrelevant results like new seat covers
and do buy the same fully ventilated leather , the standard leather wears better but is not as soft

Even with the new search term, I'm still not finding a driver's ventilated seat. (I'm guilty of not looking at the dark colors though)

Is the passenger seat skin interchangeable (because of the heater) with the driver's side? Can the back rest (leather skin) from front right seat fit the left side also? How about if the leather skin of the lower portion would fit either side? Could the lower seat from the passenger side work on the driver's side? If not, what are the differences?
Would a right-hand drive car's left seat be the same as my left-hand drive car's left seat? Should I look outside the USA for a seat? It seems the 'passenger' side doesn't get as much wear and tear.
