Mold interor
Hey Guys,
car has been sitting for 6 months untouched outside.
i started her up fine but there is mold on the seats and seatbelts..
whats the the best way to clean it? I’m paranoid of even going inside.. also the door jams got stuck and they key turn mechanism is also not smooth. I had to use a lil force instead of it being smooth!

A good respirator, along with close-fitting goggles (non-vented) might be a good idea.
You can try a good vacuum with a genuine HEPA filter system might get a significant amount of the mold off.
A dilute bleach mixture kills mold and spores, but is also likely to damage the leather and fabric. Running a dehumidifier inside for a week or two might dry the interior out enough to kill the mold. If so, the dead mold probably can be washed off with a good upholstery cleaner.
Or, you can pay an experienced detailer to clean it for you.

You have to find and fix the reason for the mold which is likely water intrusion into passenger footwell from
the reed valve under the hood , or clogged sunroof drains

hehe, thanks. i was planning to take on armor all wipes...
I assumed this was just because the car was sitting unused and humidity buildup in the summer etc.

this is important. You should not normally be getting moisture or mold inside the cabin. I have a leak by my rear trunk that will cause condensation on the insides of the windows sometimes, this is how I know there is an issue that needs addressed
