New alternator not charging and Star-diag. cann't find my car
Hello
I have big problems with my S400cdi year model 2003 facelift
Can anyone tell me why the Star-tester doesn't not find my car at all? The car starts and could be driven if alternator and airmatic would work. Why is the new water-cooled aternator not charging? The airmatic doesn't work eather but that I think is because of the alternator not working. The only error messages displayed on screen is "low battery" and "airmatic failure, visit workshop". Also I have put in a new battery already. I found a bad fuse (200A) in the front junktion box located on the right front passenger footwell and replaced it with a good one. It made zero differance to the other problems. I also have checkt the rear junction box in the boot. It looked to be OK.
Can anyone help me with this? Give me some pointers what to check or your best guess how to continue.

Are these ecu boxes interchangable?
Hello,
Do anyone know that are these two ecu boxes the same? Can I swap one to the other because the Star diagnostic cannot connect to my ecu, so I think its broken.
What does the FD08M12 and FD04M12 markings on the labels meen?
