S430 rear not airing up

Hi I have a 2002 s430 airmatic is not working after driving one day. Front airs up fine. Got the car up on ramps and went under to take a look. The whole rod from the rear level sensor to frame is missing? I guess it broke off I have no idea how this happened. So the arm from the level sensor is just dangling downwards. Could this be why it is not airing up at all

Probably. It is likely that the level sensor is erroneously telling the Airmatic controller that the rear is at the correct level, or perhaps even that it is too high.

You need to replace the adjustable rod linking to the sensor. To set the right niveau you either need to see the dealer's Star diagnosis to set the level, or you need to use the "try and error" method.
