cabin air vent inconsistent
of vent position control. Diagnostic errors find B1267-B1271, all indicating a/c sam bus faults and a/c stepper motor (B1271). Hidden menu finds nothing out of range (cabin temp sensor is working fine).
Cleared errors return immediately. Flap test indicates all vents are fine. Since vent flaps open, I am ruling out the stepper motor. Looks more like a programming issue (STAR). Before I commit to a dealer visit,
is anyone aware of how the computer sequences vent controls. That is, since vents open early, then close, what might be responsible for this, and is it diagnostic for STAR programming.
Thanks,
dgc
